Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly ready to fight Erik ten Hag all the way in the chase for Crystal Palace star Michael Olise.

Olise has long been linked with a summer move to Manchester United, but The Sun now reports that City are ready to line up a huge offer for the French talent.

City hope the opportunity to play under Guardiola will tempt Olise to snub United for a move to Eastlands.

The report claims that City are ready to spend £60million or more to sign Olise, who turned down a move to Chelsea at the start of the season.

Chelsea could also consider making a new attempt at signing Olise, but reports suggest the winger will end up in Manchester.

The 22-year-old’s contract at Crystal Palace expires in the summer of 2027, but he is reported to have a release clause in his contract at Selhurst Park.
