Man City keeper eyeing fourth spot

Given believes the togetherness in the team, inspired by the Wayne Bridge-John Terry, can be a boost for the club.

City managed to beat Chelsea 4-2 at Stamford Bridge.

He told The People: “It was a personal thing for Wayne and we were delighted for him (to claim the win).

“We all backed him up over it. We are a team, a family, and we all stick together.

“It’s important to do that and if it benefits us now, then great.”

He added: “We have played fewer games than some of the other sides and this is going to go to the wire.

“There are three or four other teams fighting for fourth and it’s probably as tight as the title race.

“We showed what we can do against Chelsea but now we have to back it up.

“Our away form has not been good enough so that win at Stamford Bridge really gave us huge belief and confidence.”
