Silva signed a four-year contract with City when he joined the club in a £26million deal in 2010.
City boss Mancini is now keen for the playmaker to sign a new long-term contract with the club.
“We won’t have a problem with David,” said Mancini.
“He has two more years on his contract and I don’t think that is an issue. It is important that after May we need to start talks over a new contract for him.”
