The 26-year-old joined Real Madrid on a six-month loan spell in the January transfer window.
“I am very happy. Everyone wants to play and I am managing to do so,” Adebayor told the club’s official website.
“I feel very well on the pitch, but I must say my team-mates make it easy for me.
“I feel I am gradually adapting more to the Spanish league.
“I have a very good relationship with the coach [Mourinho]. He’s given me the chance to play, which is very important to me. I am very happy with the faith he has in me.
“I’m learning Spanish little by little. I am very happy because I play for the most important club in the world. I have a great chance and I will try to do my job the best way I possibly can.”
