The Brazilian’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the season and the defender has recently been linked with a move to Manchester City.
“It is very difficult to find a big club like Barcelona. I’m experiencing things I never thought I would, I love this club,” he told Barca TV.
“That’s why I will fight with all my strength to stay here because it is my dream.
“My family and I are very happy in Barcelona and it is a privilege for any footballer to be at this club.”
