The 26-year-old’s contract talks with the Italian side have broken down, according to his agent.
Inter Milan are keen for the the Dutchman to extend Sneijder’s current deal, that is set to expire in the summer of 2015.
Sneijder’s agent, Soren Lerby, said: “Financially we can’t work out a deal. Negotiations have been called off and will only be restarted if Inter will show some willing.”
