Reports have suggested that the Ivorian midfielder was keen on a move away from the Spanish side in order to get regular first-team action.
“At this club football we live football, at a very intense level and play well. I am happy at Barcelona and there is no bigger club than this one,” he told a press conference.
Manchester United and Chelsea have both been linked with the midfielder.
