Evra was also fined £15,000, after the FA ruled that he attacked a Chelsea groundsman.
In a statement, the club said: “Manchester United are disappointed with the decision and consider the sanctions against Patrice Evra excessive.
“Manchester United and Patrice will consider all options once there has been an opportunity to digest the full reasons for the decision.”
