He said: “He was superb against Middlesbrough. He’s done very well for us and is a real credit to the game.
“He got a great reception from all the players in the dressing room after the match which was very emotional. We’ve done everything we can to persuade him to stay, but he’s going back to Sweden and we wish him well.”
