Man Utd keeper could miss the rest of the season

Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard could miss the rest of the season with an ankle problem.

The Sun reports that Lindegaard has suffered a setback in his battle to come back from damaged ankle ligaments.

Lindegaard was expected to be out of action for a month after sustaining the injury while in training in January.

The 27-year-old stepped up his comeback two weeks ago, but has now been forced to go back and work with physios.

Lindegaard had become a regular in United’s starting line-up when he sustained the injury.
