Reports says Brann directors travelled to Manchester earlier this month and held talks with Solskjaer, where the United reserves coach was offered the job as coach in Bergen.
Solskjaer’s agent Jim Solbakken told Bergenavisen: “It is true that Ole Gunner Solskjaer had a meeting with Brann, who wanted to hear his future plans.
“Ole Gunnar is flattered by the interest, but he has just started at Manchester United (as coach), and that is what he is thinking of.”
The 35-year-old retired from football last summer, and has since been coach of Manchester United’s reserves team.
