Manchester United defender Harry Maguire wants to move to a “bigger club” than West Ham if he is to leave Old Trafford this summer, according to The Times.

West Ham have seen a £20million bid for Maguire rejected by Manchester United this summer.

Manchester United are reported to be holding out for around £50million for the England international, who joined the club in a £80million deal from Leicester City in 2019.

Any potential buyer would also face an issue with Maguire’s high wages at Old Trafford.

United manager Erik ten Hag has stated that Maguire still has a future at the club, but it is believed that they would consider selling the defender at the right price. Maguire has two years left of his contract at Manchester United.
