He said: “It’s special to play against England – I have spent two-and-a-half years there and have many friends there but there are not going to be any friends on the pitch.
“After 90 minutes, when we get back in the dressing room, will we be friends again, talking and laughing.
“All of the seasons are important but this coming season is going to be another important season [at United] because I want to continue what I was doing this year with Parma. I hope first of all to play and also to impress everyone.”
