The new five-year deal will keep the 25-year-old in Turin until the summer of 2016.
“We’re experiencing a momentous change in terms of the relationship with players and this contract has seen new conditions included, such as image rights and achieving certain targets, which cause the negotiations to last longer,” Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta told the club’s official website.
“We are happy for this renewal, because Marchisio is an important player, who came through the youth ranks and is Bianconero through and through.
“His sense of affiliation and professionalism are basic elements which excite the fans and help to chase the targets that we’ve established.”
