Goals from Loic Remy and Lucho Gonzalez helped Marseille bounce back from their 2-1 defeat to Lille last weekend.
“There was a big disappointment against Lille [ast weekend] and added to that there were other problems in the week, it was not ideal conditions,” said Deschamps to Le Figaro.
“It’s even more rewarding for my players who showed great mental strength. Winning at Rennes, who have the best defence, is a big satisfaction for me.”
