Tuttosport claimed this morning that AC Milan were ready to make a €15million bid for the French defender.
“I can comfortably tell you that our rapport with Roma is excellent,” agent Olivier Jouanneaux said in an interview with Calciomercato.com.
“I often speak to [Roma’s sporting director] Daniele Pradé and I don’t see why I should push him and the club into selling Mexes to Milan or any other club.
“I have never done it and I have never winked at other clubs, which is something that was suggested in an Italian paper.”
“Ever since he moved to Roma, there is always talk of a potential departure,” he continued.
“They were saying he would certainly leave last year too, but he has been in Rome for five years.
“Neither me nor the player have had any contacts with the Lombardy side and we will always discuss this kind of thing with the Giallorossi directors.”
