Mbokani has signed a four-year contract with Monaco and has joined the club in a deal reportedly worth €7million.
“I am really pleased to have signed here,” he told Monaco’s official website.
“I think it’s a good club for me to continue to grow. Great players come through here, especially African ones, for example Emmanuel Adebayor. It’s motivating for me.
“I had offers from other big clubs in Europe but I chose to Monaco and I am very satisfied.”
