Mourinho left his job as Inter Milan to take over as new Real Madrid coach earlier this summer.
Mazzarri had several arguments with Mourinho, during the Portuguese’s stay in Italy.
“Mourinho will not be missed in Serie A,” smiled Mazzarri on RAI Sport.
“He is going to lead an important club now. To be honest, I just could not understand his attitude in Italy.
“Of course he won a great deal with Inter, but he has also always had excellent squads at his disposal.”
