Munua joined Malaga and signed a one-year contract with the club this summer.
“It’ll be a beautiful [and] special game, because I will come up against former team-mates and friends,” the 31-year-old told Marca.
“Deportivo are a very difficult side, very close-knit and I don’t think the subject of [Angel] Lafita will affect them very much.
“It will be a nice opportunity to win there and to start collecting [points] away from home.”
