Borriello has been struggling with injuries this season and is not expected to be back in action before next term.
“Who wouldn’t want a player like Borriello in their squad?” Donadoni told the Corriere dello Sport.
“He is a striker with quality that cannot be questioned. However, I think it is still a little premature to talk about transfers.
“I will talk to sporting director Pierpaolo Marino and President Aurelio De Laurentiis about the possibility of strengthening in the summer.”
