United will travel to Oakwell for a Carling Cup clash on Tuesday and a number of senior stars are expected to be rested.
But United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that the summer signing from Bordeaux will feature.
“He will play tomorrow against Barnsley, it is a good start for him,” said Ferguson.
