O’Hara is currently on loan at Wolves from Tottenham until the end of the season.
He said: “It’s up to the chairman. If they want to sign me, whether they are in the Premier League or not, that’s up to them.
“We are really settled at the moment. We are looking at a house to put down some roots. I’d love to stay here because I’m enjoying my football.
“If the offer is right and the chairman wants to do it, it’s something I’d definitely talk about.
“In a worst-case scenario, if the club did go down, then the key is to keep players together and come straight back up.”
