The Brazilian has made an encouraging start to his career in London after moving to the club from Internacional.
“I’ve been very happy to come to a big football country, an amazing city and a big club and I’m enjoying every day playing football in England,” he said.
“I’m trying every day to learn more and to become a better player and I hope in the future if I continue to work hard with the right mentality, I can make better play and help Chelsea in the Premier League.”
