Hercules stunned the Spanish champions with a 2-0 win at the Camp Nou earlier in the campaign, but since then Barcelona had gone unbeaten until they lost to Real Betis in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi final.
Pedro said: “They are after all the only team who’ve beaten us this season, what happened at Betis is still fresh in our minds and we mustn’t get carried away.”
