The Chilean claims he always knew he would end up at the Bernabeu one day.
“It is difficult to explain the emotion and the pride that I feel about being chosen by the most important club in the world,” he said.
“When I started 23 years ago, I said that I would end up coaching Real Madrid.
“I believe that I have come at the right time and I believe I am the right person to guide a team that will play like the fans deserve.”
