“Vincent’s done a pre-season at Stoke, but then he didn’t play the games,” said Dave Jones.
“They released him, but Tony Pulis rang us up to say to take a look and we will do that.
“He’s been out a long time with a ruptured Achilles and there’s no harm in looking at someone on a free.
“We’re helping him and he might help us if we decide he’s right for us. If he wins a penalty every week I’ll sign him!”
