Premiership clubs chasing Argentine starlet

Sky Sports says the 21-year-old midfielder is attracting interest from Europe and particularly England, following good performances for Gimnasia de la Plata over the past 12 months.

Rinaudo was handed a call-up to the Argentina squad earlier this year and made his first full cap for Diego Maradona’s team against Panama.

“There are a number of clubs who are becoming very keen on Fabian, I can confirm that,” Rinaudo’s UK representative Barry McIntosh told skysports.com.

“Fabian is emerging as one of the best young midfielders in Argentina and it is little surprise he is catching the eye.”

Everton are reported to be among the clubs interested in the youngster.

“I can only say the interest in the Premier League is strong, but I cannot name individual clubs at this point,” he continued.

“Rinaudo is going to be in demand come the summer, especially as he could very well make it into Argentina’s World Cup squad. If that happens then who knows what extra value on him there will be,” added McIntosh.
