Barcelona president Joan Laporta is confident Puyol will stay at the Camp Nou for the rest of his career.
“There have been meetings with the representative of Puyol and we will shortly have an agreement,” Laporta told RNE.
“It is the will of all and our captain. It is very clear that Pep [Guardiola] and the club want him here.”
