The 19-year-old has only featured for the Gunners in the Carling Cup this season and could make the move in order to gain more experience.
“I need to be looking to push on,” he told Arsenal’s official website.
“At the start of the season and during pre-season I thought I did well and I had a good run in the Carling Cup until we got knocked out.
“I thought I was going to go on loan but I think part of the boss didn’t want me to go. That’s the way it goes sometimes.
“I want to learn as much as possible playing in a first team, any first team as long as I’m playing.
“I don’t want to go away and not play. It’s good to have a bit of competition and have to fight for your position.”
