Drenthe is currently on loan at Hercules from Barcelona’s rivals Real Madrid.
Hercules are set to face Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Saturday.
“Barcelona are the best team in the world,” Drenthe told AS.com. “But we are going there to play a good game.
“There are the best team, but they might have a bad day, and maybe we will have a good day and get a result.
“Our motivation to win is great. We go in as a small team, but we could emerge as a big team.”
