The Welsh international has found his place in the City squad under threat this summer and Redknapp will want to strengthen his squad ahead of Spurs’ Champions League campaign.
Redknapp told Sky Sports News: “With three players – not massive signings, not big money – just the players I really want, if I could manage to pull them off then anything could happen with Tottenham this year. I think the potential here is fantastic.
“I like Bellamy but if Manchester City don’t want to sell him…he is a player I’ve been after before when he went to Man City. They belong to Man City, it’s not really fair to talk about other people’s players.
“They’re at Man City at the moment and until they decide they want to sell them then there’s nothing you can do with anybody.”
