Agger, who is currently playing with Denmark in the World Cup, has been with Liverpool since 2006 when he joined from Brøndby in a £5m deal.
“I have no thoughts about leaving Liverpool,” said Agger. “I have a four-year contract, I intend to stay and I want to stay, no matter who the manager is.
“Of course, I hope it’s a manager who believes in me. I have to show what I can do, I know that. I like Liverpool as a club, I like Liverpool as a city, I have no reason to leave.
“And I think my team-mates feel the same way. Everybody knows that Liverpool is a big club, a great club. From the inside, I can tell you it’s a great club.”
