Il Romanista reports that Roma are interested in signing a new midfielder and have shown an interest in signing Lamela.
The 19-year-old is expected to leave River Plate this summer and the Argentine side have set a €20million asking price for the youngster.
Atletico Madrid, AC Milan and Lazio have all been linked with a move for Lamela in recent months.
