Corriere dello Sport reports that Roma are keen on bringing Gobbi to the club as an understudy to John Arne Riise.
Gobbi’s contract with Fiorentina is set to expire this summer and he could leave the club on a free transfer.
Sampdoria have also been linked with a move for Gobbi in recent weeks.
