The 26-year-old’s contract with the Brazilian side is set to expire in June and Roma have been linked with a move for him for some time.
“The lad is ready for the Italian league,” his agent Sabatino Durante told Romagiallorossa.com.
“He has had a great season with Palmeiras and would love to play on the peninsula as he holds an Italian passport. Torino are interested but Roma have also been monitoring him for a long time.”
