Roma have had a poor start to the season and ore on the bottom half of the Serie A table.
“We started the season badly,” The Roma defender admitted on Sport TV. “But we have all the time we need to turn things around, starting with Sunday’s game against Inter.
“We have a very strong squad, a united group and a great Coach. I am just desperate to get back out there to repay all the affection I have received from the people.”
He added on his fitness: “I have been out for a month with an injury I picked up during my last national call-up but I played a few minutes in the last game before the break and I can’t wait to get started again.”
