Ronaldinho set to sign new AC Milan deal

The 30-year-old has been linked with a move away from the San Siro this summer, with La Galaxy and Flamengo reportedly interested in signing the former Barcelona star.

But Ronaldinho’s agent and brother, Roberto de Assis, claims the Brazilian is set to sign a new deal that will keep him at AC Milan until 2014.

“We are ready to respect the current contract and then we will talk about an extension,” said De Assis.

“When we sit down at the table to extend his contract we will sign a deal which expires June 30, 2014.

“There won’t be any problems. There’s no rush, it’s only a formality.”
