Adriano has revealed he plans to retire after strugglin with depression for some time.
“This is a difficult moment for him,” said Ronaldo.
“I will do whatever I can to help Adriano, but only in private, between the two of us. I won’t be yet another person judging him.
“I am very sad to see what is happening, because there is a real lack of respect for this man. It’s a tough time and we are all human, so people should look at themselves before judging others.
“Watching television pundits they all act as if nobody makes a mistake in their entire lives.”
