Reports have suggested that the 23-year-old was set to join the Premier League side in a £6million deal.
“I read about it in the newspapers,” Ansaldi told Sport Express.
“But nobody has called me about it – not my agent, nor anyone else. And there has been no conversation about it with the Rubin’s officials.”
