The 24-year-old is currently Arsene Wenger’s fourth-choice centre-back and the Swiss admits he fears for his World Cup finals place with Switzerland.
He said: “I need to seek a solution as I’m not playing for Arsenal. A change of clubs in winter is an option – I am keeping all doors open
“This is a difficult time. It is like a test that I have to come through, but I believe in God and have to stay strong.”
