Senna urges Wenger to stay at Arsenal

The Arsenal boss has been linked with a move to the Spanish giants if Florentino Perez takes over as president.

“Wenger is a legend at Arsenal,” The Daily Mail quote him as saying. “He is Arsenal. I don’t think it would be a great idea for him to leave the club and go to Real Madrid because he’d have to start again and build the club up again in his image. That would take time.

“But he’s so good as a head coach that he would succeed anywhere – at any club, in Spanish football, anywhere in the world. The style of his team is world famous. The way his teams in the past kept the ball, their class in possession, everyone knows that and recognises that quality.

“He would fit perfectly in Spain, of course, but he would fit anywhere. I just don’t think it would be a good idea to leave Arsenal just now. They are building something there and he will want to be a part of it.”
