Chelsea revealed on Monday that they had agreed a deal to sell Anelka to the Chinese club.
Shanhai Shenhua director Zhou Jun claims that they are even keen on signing Ivory Coast international Drogba.
“Drogba is an excellent player. We got in touch with him two weeks ago,” commented Zhou.
“From our club’s perspective, we have this to say – if he is willing to come, we will definitely welcome him.”
