Inter Milan have had a weak start to the season but have managed back-to-back wins over Twente and Parma.
“Look at the fact we are coming off two wins in a row,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Now beating Lazio is what counts. Three wins would be super.
“It’s clear that now we don’t want to think [about winning the Scudetto], but we certainly want to win it.
“Beating Lazio would also mean another thing: we could reduce the seven-point gap with Milan and go to the Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi calmly.”
