Sneijder deny Van Persie row

Reports have suggested that Sneijder and Van Persie has fallen out ahead of the clash with Brazil in the quarter-final of the World Cup on Friday.

Van Persie had reportedly told Dutch coach Bert van Marwijk that Sneijder should have been substituted in the 2-1 win against Slovakia and not the Arsenal striker.

“Robin assured me that he had not said those words and I have no reason to doubt him,” said Sneijder.

“I don’t have a problem with him and I never have done. He was disappointed to come off, that one can understand and it really isn’t a serious matter.”

“We will be united as never before against Brazil,” he added.

“We have already drawn a line under the last 16 match and we will be 120 per cent raring to go against Brazil.”
