The 26 year old has taken the step following rumours that he was to leave the Italian and European champions.
The news was confirmed by club president Massimo Moratti, who told the club’s website “the fans will be happy above all else because we have today reached an agreement with Wesley Sneijder for a contract extension until 2015.”
