The Mirror reports that Southampton boss Nigel Adkins believes the signing of Ince would boost their hopes of survival in the Premier League.
Adkins is prepared to offer £2million plus Jason Puncheon for the highly-rated winger.
Ince has a year left on his current contract at Blackpool.
