Southampton plan move for Argentine star – if they are promoted

Southampton are ready to make a move to sign Argentine forward Matias Soule from Juventus if they are promoted to the Premier League.

The highly-rated forward Soule has also been linked with Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Aston Villa.

Soule has impressed while on loan at Frosinone, boasting 10 goals and 2 assists this season, and have significantly boosted his market value.

Juventus, having rejected Al-Ittihad’s January offer of €25 million, values the Argentine sensation closer to €40 million, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.

Juventus are also reportedly considering including Soule in a move for Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, who is being linked with the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle and Tottenham.
