Spalletti has been in Russia for talks with Zenit this week.
“We have talked, I wanted to have a close look at the chance of working there and now I must think about it,” Spalletti is quoted as saying on Forzaroma.info.
“There is no rush, I want to look into the state of Russian football and this team that has gone out of the Europa League and must now fight for a place in the Champions League.”
