Khumalo will move to Spurs in the January transfer window after having impressed manager Harry Redknapp during a trial last month.
A source close to the deal told The Mirror: “Tottenham have requested that Khumalo be allowed to train with them again when the SuperSport fixture calendar allows him to travel to England.
“SuperSport’s next game is on October 16, and that is why they allowed him to take the trip to England.”
