Friedel’s current contract with Aston Villa is set to expire at the end of the season and the highly-rated goalkeeper could leave the club on a free transfer.
Liverpool, West Brom and Spurs are keen on signing the goalkeeper, but Villa are also looking for Friedel to sign a new deal with the club.
Liverpool and West Brom plans to use the veteran goalkeeper as back-up.
